You’ve said it many times to the kids, ‘have you done it yet?’.  Now it’s time to take some of your own advice and make a start on realising your design or business dream.  We have an offer to help you that’s too good to refuse.

Thanks to Business Mamas, we have an exclusive offer for you, Tanya Cook, business mum & Business Mamas ambassador  is available for a 30 minute complimentary phone consultation to chat about your business goals, brainstorm opportunities and what steps you can take to bring them to life.

To give you an idea as to the business experience and knowledge Tanya can offer you, here’s a quick Q&A with Tanya.

Q. What was the tipping point for you to start a business – did something happen that was the final vote of encouragement?

A. My very first business was born out of necessity, I had two babies in very quick succession of each other and the idea of going back to a 9 -5 role was just not my idea of living, so I decided to go into business and allow myself the flexibility to follow my dreams.

Q.  What are the top 3 things you think a business mum needs to succeed in business?

A. Education, support and continual action.

Q. Is there ever such thing as the right time to start a business ?

A. I think if you have the inkling to start a business then it’s all about taking action towards it, doesn’t matter if they are just baby steps but always be taking action toward achieving your dream and building the business.

Q. What are your best time management tips to other mums who want to efficiently manage business and family ?

A. It’s not always easy to find the balance in these two but start from the end. Work out how you want your life to look and then work backwards to achieve this, we all too often just jump in and end up with a business that’s too big or too small because we didn’t work out how we wanted our life to look in the first place.

Q. What are the most important skills you need to run a business ?

A. Skills can be learnt so a willingness to learn what you don’t know and seek help is probably the most important thing.

Q. What is the best business decision you have ever made ?

A. The best business decision I have ever made was to invest in myself through education, courses and most of all business coaching. Being in business is a never ending learning curve so the more you invest in your own learning the better the outcome will be.

Q. What is the worst business decision you have ever made and what lesson did you get from it

A. To do it all on my own and not seek out any help, no-one can have all the skills required to start or grow a successful business, we all have some gaps in our knowledge and skills so thinking you can do it all yourself is not a great idea.

It makes sense to have a chat to Tanya about your business ambition. To lock in a time with Tarnya, email
