I’ve always loved Wee Gallery art cards; designed specifically for babies as their sight develops. Looking around for a gift for Kate’s new little gal, Josie, I’ve noticed they’ve added beautiful blankets, pillows & softies to their range. How to choose!
With the arrival of our little Ari 6 months ago, the big boys have been fascinating with the development of his sight. Firstly his ability to only see very contrasting colours (dark & light), developing into his fascination with patterns, and now his ability to see shapes & follow them around the room.
That’s why we still love our black & white Wee Gallery Baby Art Cards which we’ve had for almost 9 years now.
Looking around for baby gifts I’ve noticed that Wee Gallery have added all sorts of new goodies to their range since I last looked.
Taking my fancy as a new baby gift are the Baby’s First Soft Books which you open length-wise to reveal lots of friendly farm yard faces. All in black & white so your baby can focus on them, and then, when they’re bored, they can shove it all in their mouths & suck on it (as baby’s like to do).
For the nursery I love the range of black &white softies, pillows & blankets. There’s a penguin in there and as my boys are obsessed with them I’m thinking that one’s going on Ari’s xmas shopping list.
Finally, there’s some goodies for the bigger kids as well including some awesome Dress Me Up Wallpaper which allows budding fashion designers to create outfits for the bunnies, foxes & piggys. The great thing about the Wee Gallery wall paper is that it’s like a decal and it can be put up & removed from any wall surface without damage.
You can find the full Wee Gallery range on their website. Make sure you check-out the free downloadable range while you’re there, there are some nice project for the kids including a mobile & cards.
