It’s a break-through in stroller technology.  Britax’s new E-Brake stroller features a touch sensitive breaking mechanism built into the handle.   But there’s more to this new stroller … you can find out when you win one!

The new Britax E-Brake stroller is the first stroller in the world to feature an electronic brake.  It’s a pretty simple design premise and very effective in preventing run-away strollers.

Take your hands off the handle and the e-brake engages.  Put your hands back on the handle and the e-brake disengages.

An LED display on the handle is the brains of the Britax E-Brake stroller.  It shows you when the brake is engaged, but it also has a few other tricks up it’s sleeve.  It displays the current temperature, the time, the distance you’ve walked and calories burnt.

Most importantly the E-Brakes display shows you the battery charge because the E-Brakes electronic features are powered by a rechargeable battery that sits in a little pocket in the under seat basket.

In addition to it’s fancy electronic features, the Britax E-Break features and fully-reclinable and reversible seat unit, a large underseat basket, height adjustable handlebar, soft non-punture wheels, adjustable leg rest and is compatible with the Safe-n-Sound Unity baby carrier to become a travel system.

The Britax E-Break stroller also features a set of standard flip-on, flip-off breaks.

The E-Break comes complete with a sun cover, rain cover, boot cover and removable organiser with 2 x bottle holders.

But wait, there’s more.  The E-Brake can accomodate a second seat unit and also a second Safe-n-Sound Unity baby carrier for your toddler & baby or twins.

The Britax E-Break stroller is available in blue & silver colours, is priced at $949 and is making its way into your local and online baby store now.

The good news is that thanks to Britax, you can be one of the first Aussie parents to test drive the E-Brake when you win one!  Enter to win below.  Good luck.

Vanessa loves great design. Beauty, function and innovation get her excited. When she’s not hunting down the next big baby idea, she’s busy with her day job and being a mum to her 3 lovely boys.

Wow just wow! How exciting to be able to have a accurate measurement of my efforts something I’ve not had before. Having to put my fitbit in my pocket to read as I push my stroller so it reads is annoying. Because I’m pushing the stroll ever time we leave the house. As a busy mum of 3 who has owned a embarrassing amount of prams this one looks amazing. Fingers crossed.

Why hasn’t the eBrake been invented long ago, such a great item to have and never feel the Stroller will run away with your precious bundle inside.

This Britax e-brake system is amazing! So many incidents of prams rolling onto train tracks making the evening news; certainly a well thought design!

You have outdone yourselves I have always wanted a stroller that was comfortable, safe and compact and this one just looks amazing.

Gosh this is amazing !! we are always walking by the foreshore here, we live so close to the sea but there’s a drop into the water. Even our local park has a lake with an incline leading down to it. I’m forever frightened one of the kids will remove the brakes and it rolls before I can realise it. Owning this would be peace of mind for me and incredible safety for my wee man.

This is incredible. EVERY aspect has been thought of. I love that you can see how many calories you have burnt and the KMs you have walked plus are able to keep an eye on the time. The little one/s are getting fresh air and seeing new sights and it helps you feel accomplished by seeing you have lost calories. The electronic break is genius. This is ground breaking in the pram industry. I love everything about it and all the accessories you get! Being pregnant with number two, I have my fingers crossed!
