Kate & I dropped into the Kids in Style trade show this weekend to have a look at the new babies & kids products are due to make it into your favourite stores in the next few months. Here are some of the highlights.
I’m currently in the market for some sort of breastfeeding cover and I quite like this miss lilly Kimocape. It looks great as an everyday item of clothing and can be worn in four different ways. When it comes time to feed your baby, the Kimocape can be done up at the shoulder to provide full cover. The Kimocape is current available in a range of pretty pints for warmer weather. Watch out for comfy jersey colours for winter.
Kid O have added a few new toys to their range. I really liked the Whale Squirt Toy ($20) and the very retro looking Tempo Music Set ($40).
Petit Collage has a new range of backpacks and lunch boxes in animal, butterfly and dinosaur designs. Toddler sized back packs will be priced at $65 and Lunch Boxes $40.
Remember those little pear night lights we featured in the Made 4 Baby Blog not so long ago? Delight Decor now have a cloud version. It comes in 2 sizes, a mini battery sized version ($19.99) for a full sized electric version ($99) which has a tap on/off & dimmer function.
My favourite new product of the show was Hobbe’s new Manhattan rocker. I got to have a nice test-drive in the first prototype of this perfectly proportioned for smaller spaces. When available, the Hobbe Manhattan will be priced at $999.
Last, but not least, Kate & I loved these little fairy house night lights by Little Belle. Designed & made in Australia, these ceramic night lights come in pink, blue, yellow and red and are priced at $149.95.
We’ll have more information on these, and some of our other favourites from the Kids In Style trade fair over the next few weeks.
