UK brand Joie Baby are the latest brand to enter the Aussie car seat market. Lets have a look at their new range.
Passing Australian Safety Standards for child restraints is no mean feat. So we don’t tend to get as many car seat options as other countries; it’s worth taking note of a new brand like Joie Baby.
Joie have release 4 new car seats in it’s range.
The Gemm Infant Car Seat is a traditional style baby capsule that’s secured with a tether strap and your car’s seat belt. It’s suitable for your child from birth to approx 12 months (depending on your baby’s size) and is priced at $499.
The i-Gemm Infant Car Seat is similar to the Gemm Car Seat above but can be installed either using your car’s seat best or via Isofix adaptors (plus a tether strap). The i-Gemm also features an automatically adjusting harness (no need to rethread the harness as your baby grows). It’s suitable for your child from birth to approx 12 months (depending on your baby’s size) and is priced at $599.
Both baby capsule style car seats are travel system compatible with all Joie strollers.
The Meet Curve covetable car seat is rear-facing from birth up to 3 years and forward facing up to 4 years (depending on the size of your child). It features an automatically adjusting harness & head-rest, side ventilation, side pockets & 3 recline positions. It’s priced at $549.95.
Finally, the Meet Trillo booster seat is a tethered booster seat that uses your car’s seat belt (rather than a harness) to secure your older child. It features an adjustable head rest and is suitable for your child from 4 years to approximately 8 years (depending on their size). It’s priced at $199.
