Here’s a new digital medical kit which is going to revolutionise the way parents assess regular childhood illnesses. It’s called the Clinicloud and soon every household is going to have one.
So smart, the Clinicloud medical kit combines a digital stethoscope and no touch thermometer that are both activated via an app on your phone.
The stethoscope is a small disk shape that attaches to your phone. It sends a sound recording directly to your phone and creates a medical history. in the Clinicloud app. Parents can actually use the sound recording to identify the severity of asthma and chest infections, and/or take the information to their local doctor or use it for a remote consultation.
The no-touch thermometer sends it’s reading to the app via bluetooth. There’s a guiding light to help you locate the optimum position to take a reading. Because it’s no touch you can take readings while your baby is asleep.
The Clinicloud app also records heart beat and respiratory rates to give you an overall picture of your baby or child’s heath (or your own).
