Recently we reviewed the Mountain Buggy duet stroller. One thing that caught my eye (but didn’t have the opportunity to cover in the review), is the new Mountain Buggy carrycot plus. This new style of bassinet has features which extend the life of the bassinet and offer more verstility.
When Mountain Buggy are onto a good idea, they know how to make the most of it. We first noted the potential of the Mountain Buggy Cosmopolitan’s adaptable seat unit back in 2013 and now Mountain Buggy have developed it to it’s full potential with the release of the carrycot plus.
The new Mountain Buggy carrycot plus bassinet comes with 2 fabric sets and offers 3 rear-facing options for your infant.
The carrycot plus starts life as a standard flat bassinet, if you’re baby has reflux or as they grow, you can adapt the carrycot plus so it has a slight incline.
When your baby is a little older, with a change of fabric sets, you can convert your carrycot plus again, into a rear-facing seat unit.
The Mountain Buggy carry cot plus is also strong enough to accommodate your baby up to 15kgs, which is significantly more than a standard bassinet, and can be adjusted for winter warmth or summer ventilation.
The Mountain Buggy carrycot plus is currently available for the Mountain Buggy duet stroller and is priced at $169. Hopefully we’ll see it available for other Mountain Buggy prams soon.
